Find your way through Mumbai
mapsmaze is a free map puzzle game on the real streets of Mumbai. Study the map for a few seconds, then find your way to the address from memory, junction by junction, like a maze made of a real city.

Where you play
Letters in Mumbai start in the Fort district in South Mumbai, on the city's real street map from OpenStreetMap.
Mumbai's streets
The Fort district packs colonial-era streets around open maidans and the big station, with roads that fan out at angles rather than in a grid. Long roads like D.N. Road are your anchors.
How a round goes
- Study the map. You see the streets of Mumbai, where you start and where the letter goes, for a few seconds.
- Walk it from memory. The map goes away and you're in the street, at street level. Choose a street at each junction and run to the next one.
- Deliver the letter. Points for a direct route and a quick one; every peek back at the map costs 50.

New players pick 3 cities to start with, so you can choose Mumbai straight away. Delivering letters earns stamps, which open more cities. The daily letter, the same for everyone, is set in one of the game's cities, and it could be this one.
